I hope you enjoy it, I've replayed this a few times and I'd say it's up there among my favourites. It's beautiful, fun to play, poignant, funny at times, heart-wrenching, thought-provoking, and edifying all at once.

Next up, Lieutenant Commander Data on Star Trek TNG! I didn't have a lot of time to play today, so I only got as far as creating the character. If I have time tomorrow, I might start making a com badge, though that might be a bit ambitious for my current skill set.

One week of work left before I head to Montreal for a week's vacation, then to Toronto for a few days for work, then back home.

I figured out how to make more of a collar, but the transparency layer comes out as white so I cheated. Look now, Picard and Riker are following and chasing each other around, it's so cute 🥰

I haven't written anything in C# or Java for a few years, been mostly ruby on rails and react. Also never dabbled in game development, though I've been interested. Coding outside of work feels too much like I'm doing overtime for free though haha, so I tend to just game in my free time

Disclaimer, I haven't been very artsy in a long while, it'll take me a while to get acquainted with the paint tools and I expect the characters will become more refined over time.

Took me over an hour so far to create a self-insert character 😁

I heard, I'll have to be selective about the characters I create haha

It's a sim game but with Nintendo Miis, and theres added granular customization options. You can design each character and choose their name, age, gender, preferences, pronouns, personality traits, and influence who they will interact with. You can also design the island and create 3D objects

So if I get it, so far I'm thinking of including characters from Star Trek TNG & DS9, Seven Deadly Sins, Princess Bride, Zelda, Mario, Adventure Time, BG3, Frieren, Dungeon Meshi, FFVI, Empire Records, Futurama, T2's Sarah Connor, and OMG THE GOLDEN GIRLS. Will probably think of more yet haha 😂
