thats fair i think its just different tastes, my issue with a lot of roguelikes is the massive variety doesn't actually lead to me playing the game in a different way strategically ever so it doesn't do much for me. I like the decisions im forced to make in every run of sts

and anime girls!! which slay the spire is missing

I gotta play chrono ark the multiple party members seems really cool and it has a story which is a big plus

I understand them it really does just getter better the more u play it

I liked trizon too for similar reasons the mechanics are limited but fit together well where it ended up being more interesting than the ones with random bull shit everywhere, also way more of a focus on cards then relics which I liked

idk u play a lot of roguelikes and they are so focused on putting anything and everything in there to the point where the game falls apart, a bunch of cool or interesting ideas that rarely have an actual impact on your decision making in the moment, slay the spire feels like I’m playing a game still

I’ve been playing a lot of roguelike deck builders for admittedly cynical reasons and man slay the spire really is the best one, everyone one I play makes me appreciate it more it’s so well put together it’s crazy

i assume it will be announced at keigh3 this summer like the last two years of dlc were, geoff u better not fuck me on this...

maybe they only use it if they know the pokemon cant mega but then you are stuck with a choice scarf, honestly even when he pulled it off it didn't seem to do him much, like damn now my sneasler can only use close combat u got me
