If everyone is told they’re special, no one is. Ai allows everyone to explore talents they wish they had. (artist, creator, video producer, graphic designer, writer, etc.) If everyone has “talent”, then no one does.

Literacy week means baseball books for kids at Glendale Sciences and Technology School in Red Deer. Students and staff met Sully and we learned some new pitches too.

When you’re little, everything in your closet casts a fearful shadow. As you grow up, you realize there’s no boogeyman in there. Canadians are supposed to be scared of the boogeyman again today but I refuse. It’s just the sad shadow from an oversized, cheap suit.

The Canadian election is barely 24hrs old and the splatter and spew from both sides of the electorate is already obvious. Anyone else lose respect for people you thought you knew yet? 🙋‍♂️

On the right side of history or not, your ideas are perpetuated by confirming what you already know & think. Where did your ideas come from & why are others’ so damn different than yours? 🤔

Public comments are often negative because that’s where bullies get validation. Direct messages & private texts are where the kind people go. Because they want you to know you are loved. ♥️

Buying Canadian is no longer a subtle suggestion or National gesture, it’s one of economic survival. Canadians have to put their money where their freedom is & our governments have to make it much easier and affordable to actually do. 🇨🇦

Thanks Greg. I don’t object to disagreement: I do it too in public and ironic posts like this. But few are willing to have their mind changed online. This place (and other micro conversation platforms) can’t provide necessary expression to move a point, unfortunately. Yet many try.

Points made in a social post or its comments section are rarely open to debate. Like religious & political views, few online opinions are ever open to actual reasoning or debate, only staunch stance or argument. So, why do so many people fall for it?

The high road is the best route to the long game. 🛣️

We’ll see 363 performances in three days, and over 120 teams (20-30 athletes per). Add 2-4 parents, family members per athlete, and you’ve got about 7,000 or more rotating attendance and through the door this weekend.
