i feel like its more about the accent on the B (same as the one on the D), and the primary & accent color being almost identical. its too many similarities to chalk it up to a coincidence.
this is something ive been looking forward to for a long time.
made a LOT OF PROGRESS on the terminal. its basically finished, im just working on polish at this point

made a mycelium auditory network ππβπ«. speak into one patch of mycelium and the 'shrooms will carry your voice throughout the map! a cheap (albeit a bit inconvenient) way to speak with your friends who are far away
ive done a ton of networking stuff over the past week. got steam lobbies fully set up. now you can join active games. i also added proximity voice chat, and theres just so much you're able to do with it.
owning a brewery is a dream of mine. it just seems like something that would sooth my soul. unfortunately the brewing business is in the shitter right now!

ssh is an obscure but widely-deployed command. It stands for Secure Snake Home and was made in the 90s to securely play snake online
I made a massively multiplayer backend for it with support for thousands of concurrent snake players

decided the old texture on the ship was abysmal, so i made a quick metal panel shader.
finally getting around to throwing it all together. experimenting with some shaders. i like how this looks, but it feels a little too lethal company inspired.
it really is a disappointment. sonic has such neat character design, and the idea of blazing through these sprawling levels seems so fun.
but then i always found the level design so... meh? why am i punished for trying to have fun?
