While a terrifying take on where authoritarianism leads, it’s not a great film. It’s extremely depressing. Watching the unraveling of a happy family over five years and the tragic ending is a slog at times and not really believable. Created during Biden so it’s not topical, more a cautionary tale.

I love this show although only a few episodes have been released. The cast is fabulous. This is Nick Offerman’s best role, he’s great as a muscleman wrestler drug addict with a big heart. Elle Fanning is brave to be squirting breast milk and giving a raw authentic performance as a young single mom.

Fun seeing all the actors from How to Get to Heaven From Belfast too. Probably should have watched this first but loved both. Really loved how they weave in true events like the Clinton visit. Such a great show! Must see!

I love the disco flashback of the parents with the same personalities and relationships as their future teens. All the performances are excellent. I love seeing Nicola Coughlin in such a different role from Bridgerton.

Had to stay up to finish binging #derrygirls. What a great well-written show inspired by the true life events of Catholic High School “girls” living through The Troubles of Northern Ireland in the 90s. The parents are exactly my age 15 in 1977.
