Looking down into a small terracotta plant pot, a banksia seedpod is half buried in the dirt and the stem of a banksia is growing from beneath it, we're looking past a few of the serrated leaves. On one side of the seedpod a dozen green stems are growing like fat grass. Each of them is a native orchid, probably a few sun orchids and the rest will likely be onion orchids.
