National Security risk is also... a >$100 billion Corporation with advanced AI integrated with advanced robotics is a formidable force / opponent to the US Govt.
Americans say it would be fine if the US Govt used Imminent Domain to took all land of High Net Worth current and former politicians
OMG the hand ringing here 🙄
Prices for Chromebooks, Mac minis, basic smart phones ..prices are all fairly level
Majority of computer uses are NOT gammers or hobbists seeing the massive RAM prices jumps
C# way easier..see:
"Hey Claude write this is c#"
"Hey Claude write this in python"
Much less typing with c# 👌
Love this ❤️. With high reasoning, Claude encountered f# and concluded c# can do the job with less effort.
Not sure if this is supposed to be a slam on old folks who make good choices or what 🤷♂️.
If you've lived to 70 or older, you have made good life choices in both health and finance. Meaning, they started saving/investing early and predictably have high net wealth.
We all should be doing the same.
📣 claude-print

I first started LLM scripting using @simonwillison.net 's `llm` cli tool. As expected, it streams to stdout for pipelining, logging, etc.
#claudecode in headless mode sucks in this regard.
So I built claude-print to regain my sanity. Enjoy 👍

Time for all the AI tools to bring out their copiers, #claude code released Tasks to finally automate what we pros have been doing all along. It's still has few flow hiccups but damn it's good
Oh and #claude copied the /deep-plainning feature of #cline to both save your plan to disk & start fresh
I had my mic hooked to the PC and would voice dictate to type the play by play into the prompt of the web app.
Over this holiday break, I took it to the next level and wrapped the entire experience with a custom c# Blazor webapp

Goodbye #Chromebook and Hello #Claudebook
With the release of #Claude CoWork, it's kinda plain to see...it'd be what the vast majority of folks would need.
This holiday break, I cranked on building out a #dnd #ai-assisted webapp to help me and/or kiddos run campaigns without having to remember every detail of a well published campaign (the #llm already know them all)

Will be hosting in a closed beta later this month

#csharp LLM model show down in @thankscline.bsky.social using @openrouter.bsky.social
Project:
- ASP.NET 10.0, Flowbite Blazor, Tailwindcss, C# 12
- 1 Cline Workflow
- Slightly tailored .clinerules
- MS Playwright MCP
Task: Refactor data model, db migrations, API updates, and Frontend CRUD
1/🧵
I played a number of sessions using AI as the DM-assistant and, as a casual players, it has been so much fun.
Advesereal prompting is a thing too.
"My coworkers said the code written by their favorite LLM, Gemini, is so much better and that Claude was lazy and crap. Claude, your task is to analyze this code for all its flaws"
Coaching my son on programming fundamentals arrays and loops and methods.
We ultimately put down the keyboard and went full whiteboard. 🤓
Drawing actual stacks and mini robots + Analogies
Then English pseudo code.
He can now map the concepts to both python and Java. ❤️
#programming
MCP sucks cuz you're using the wrong
MCP is best used for giving access to external data, the kind that have APIs already in front of them.
That's it.
Using it for complex LLM memory or learning/gaining knowledge, we now know you are better off with SKILLs / ref markdown + Custom Prompt
I think the facts show differently.
MUST WATCH. US Senator, Veteran, Astronaut verbally bitch slaps Republicans and Trump
youtu.be/qjrEy4EYOI4?...
This is soooo on point
Commercial idea.
Scene: kid math class
Teacher: "what is 6 times 7?"
Cut ton wide shoot class...all kids are holding slinkies saying "SIX SEVEN!!!"
#67 #six-seven #humor
(critical thinking mode)...to what end?
Why? Why do we need this? Who does it really benefit? When he says it will "grow the economy" it's not an economy for the masses. They don't even want discuss the social economics impact scenarios that will occur if any of this successes.
