We need a true, clear first choice. To be fair to Beto he has a goal every 182 minutes this season (every 210 last). The problem is his slow starts to the season (every year, mainly him but partially us not always playing to his strengths)?make him a #2 guy in a rotation.
Exactly that and if he winds up as a high floor back-up in a couple of years because a youngster comes through then there is no harm in that either.
We have an option to extend Myko a year. I think the plan is like Garner - activate option, negotiate extension.

Everton don’t really have a top 8 squad yet IMO. We need FBx2, wingers & a new striker, there is no argument on that, though Beto is a solid squad player. He got 8 at every 191 PL minutes last year so his 7/182 this shows consistency. The problem for him and us is he starts seasons very slowly.
