In a new thematic collection published in the Journal of the British Academy, Fellows reflect on recent course closures and threats of further cuts across the Humanities and Social Sciences.
I lecture weekly for 2 hours per 3 hour module (with breaks of course). I based part of my senior HEA fellowship on a discussion of the enduring value of a lecture. Let's not underestimate students too radically. If WE seem not to value lectures, they definitely won't do so. 1
