I have a very similar haircut! Just a little longer on top with some curl to it. The bartender at the queer pub sing said he always remembers my name because of my distinctive hair 😄

Gonna be crying at the end of this season again. What a legend. 🥹

Also Roofman is right at the 2 hour mark but it’s truly one of those “this only works because it really happened” stories, so wild

Much love to all the pirates at Rhys’ Boston show tonight! It was so great seeing you and laughing at goofy mouth noises (and other stuff) together for 90 minutes.

Heartbroken for y’all. The Wilbur website doesn’t even have any age limit listed for it so idk how they expected people to know.

Today is the 251st anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.

I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.

Remind you of anyone?

Fandoms evolve and some folks move on, maybe for a bit or forever. Hyperfixations change.

But the #OFMD fandom is about the community first and foremost. It’s bigger than the show now in its way and not dependent on getting more. Think of all the money raised, for example!

I love that my massage therapist's response to "I subluxed my SI joint in my sleep but I was able to pop it back into place" was basically "oh good, now you know you can do that if it happens again!" 😆
It was just such a glass half full response.

My favorite part of NCAA Gymnastics semifinals is watching how the teams adopt the individual athletes rotating with them and cheer them on.

“Getting it Wrong”: The First City-Funded Shelter Focused on the Trans Community is a Nightmare — Assigned Mariah Lopez, Executive Director of S.T.A.R.R., continues to fight for justice in the New York City shelter system conditions for trans clients and employees alike.

In NYC, a shelter for trans people experiencing homelessness should be a godsend to the most vulnerable members of our community, but issues including predatory cis men lying their way in have made it a nightmare.

And @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social isn't answering activists' emails...

A screenshot of a social media app in dark mode showing a drafted post that failed to send.
At the top, a red error banner reads: "The server appears to be experiencing issues. Please try again in a few moments."
Below the banner is a drafted post by a user that says: "Been using this site for 3 years now and I don't think I've ever encountered so much downtime, especially during peak times. Not a surprise this is right after they started using AI to code the site."
The drafted post is quoting another post by Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com), which reads: "I enjoy Bluesky but the fact it is randomly down for 1-2 hours a day is really not great".

How is “viewpoint diversity” not just affirmative action for people with bad ideas

I really loathe the idea that the Brands get this kind of control over what should be personal preference for players.

Given the bottom of the NWSL wage structure, the fines being proposed here also seem pretty out of line to me.

My work office that I only go to about once a week often sits at like 74-75 degrees (6th floor+morning sun) and I’m always shocked at how comfortable I am in there until I look at the temp and remember.
I’m pretty sure I’m just a lizard.

Ah yes, shoulder season, when it's technically warmer outside than in so the heat isn't really running much and yet my poor little fingies get cold all the time working from home unless I have a cup of tea to hold and warm them up.

My body's circulation really does think 68-70 is borderline cold.
