Our schools are running on empty. We have to turn the tide.
Vote now in our ballot of teachers and support staff in England.

Word of the day, should you be feeling a little huffish, is ‘apanthropy’ (18th century): a love of solitude and the desire to be away from other people.
Watched Talamasca. Then discovered Interview with the Vampire series from last year. Really enjoyed both. Love a modern/supernatural crossover.

Too much to do, a million things to mark, completely exhausted, and ill for over a week now. I need a break 🤯🤯
My BHM assembly this year was about Claudette Colvin, and in previous years has been about the women of Montgomery and their tireless efforts. Movements take time and effort. A brilliant article.

Ed tech and the best lesson I taught this year.
The best Ed tech in the world for my subject is a book.

Oh no Emmy!! Wishing you a speedy recovery pal xxx
Apparently I’ve taken more photos of books I want to buy than ones I’ve actually read…but I read this one. And Picture Imperfect. And Stephen Fry’s Odyssey.
