I try not to focus on the negative too much. It's hard but the landscape of every genre is always shifting and changing. My main hope is to keep me and my peers grounded and enjoying the process.

Let's start with TANK got more words. That's important. I've been talking with some other writers. They are releasing some awesome stuff but it's tough out there. All I can say is keep going. Success isn't guaranteed, but you can get your story out.

These up and down temperatures suck. We're getting 25 degree jumps in temperature and my head hates it. Regardless, I got some words in on TANK. I think the plan is to slowly put together an outline for Project Mega even if I don't get to it this year.

Welp, another week is upon us. The work week itself seems like more of the same for me, but next weekend is a big one. J has prom and both kids have tournament soccer. Luckily, this one's at home. Other than that it's back to the grind.

We've made it to Friday people. I ordered some Magic cards (singles) to celebrate. TANK got some words yesterday which is normal. I would have been more productive, but I ended up outlining the first ten chapters of a potential future project. 😬

Yeah, most days are a bit of a struggle to find new ways to say, "I wrote some words." I had a lot of things fall into place over the weekend which made this one easy.

Another Monday is upon us. It always feels like it happens far too quickly. AE2 now has a narrator while MMM vol 1 has completed the fifteen minute milestone. TANK has crossed the 60k threshold as well. It's not everyday that I have so much progress. 😎

We're on the downhill portion of the week. Yesterday saw a few words, but the number was a bit lower than expected. This happens from time to time when I'm doing dialogue heavy sections. Regardless, I saw some good progress. Maybe today we'll hit 60k.

No real movement on the AE2 audiobook front. Audible really wants me to use either voice replica or virtual voice. I'd rather a real person do it. Not sure what I'll do if I can't get someone.

The holiday weekend went by fast too quickly. It was busy but good. I played some games and hung out with family mainly. That said I got some words in and had an offer accepted on MMM vol 1's audiobook. I just need to get audio for AE2 nailed down.

Words were written and a chapter finished. MMM vol 1 received its first audition and it is promising. I'm letting both audiobooks cook for a moment since they've only been open for auditions for a week. Other than that it's business as usual.
