My research on human AI and human robot attachment shows bonds emerge through interactions over time that reduce uncanniness socially. jgcarpenter.com 2/2
GenAI is extremely prone to hallucinate. If people use LLMs to ask questions they don’t know the answer to, how would they be able to spot a mistake? And now think what can happen if we implement these systems in areas where truth and detail matter e.g. investment decisions, stock market or medicine

Was wondering if applicants have been notified already. Also, do we get notified via email?
Each time, I arrive to the same conclusion: I love being a researcher.
The best thing about attending conferences is that it helps with reconnecting, revising, and/or reprioritising career goals. You get to listen to what others have to say and feel inspired.
I have been re-evaluating mine and updating them after attending the EU Chatbot Summit in Edinburgh.

Returning to England before January was a mistake. No matter how long I live in this country, I still find it difficult to cope with how gloomy it becomes.
