This is a prime example of why I believe a majority of Canadians are onboard with Poilievre's plans to cut CBC's funding. It used to be an institution that served all Canadians and now it's an institution captured by a morally confused mob that serves itself and those that kowtow to it.

It's kind of incredible how many pets I saw in the airport today. Are people traveling with pets because they find it fun? What was the original intent behind letting people bring pets on a plane?

Recorder

This is what one minute sounded like on the flight I was just on.

Now imagine listening to that 119 more times in a row.

Yes! I still find it hard to believe that it constantly beeps at me every 2 minutes when there's just a few drops of rain. It's so annoying and so far from what's promised.

Prediction: Pickleball will have a similar boom and bust cycle as roller skating. It will be popular for a decade or two and then cratter in popularity with little resurgences here and there over the decades.

Also, we should bring back 1905 roller skates...

The Hidden Autopilot Data That Reveals Why Teslas Crash | WSJ
The Hidden Autopilot Data That Reveals Why Teslas Crash | WSJ YouTube video by The Wall Street Journal

This lines up with my experience using Auto Pilot with our Tesla over the past two years. It's dangerous and shouldn't be passing regulations. We've turned it off. youtu.be/mPUGh0qAqWA?...

I think you could make it optional. Kind of like how you can have just one email list or give subscribers options to unsubscribe from certain emails. Here's our email unsubscribe page...

I would follow more people if I could do this too. There are folks that I'd like to follow for their posts on a single topic but I can't follow them because they monopolize my feed with political posts.

๐Ÿ’ฏ Ideally when I click to follow I could uncheck certain topics that this person posts on. For example, I might uncheck the "Politics" topic and then I wouldn't see any of their political posts in my feeds. I might post on more topics myself if my followers could do this. /cc @bsky.app

This is gold...

@ianlandsman.com: "I'd have to go get a job or something like that. I wouldn't make it out there."

Without hesitation...

@aaronfrancis.com: "No, you wouldn't."

That killed me. Such a Seinfeld coffee shop exchange.

Considering asking people to send me a screencast of them writing their application email for our job posting. So many ChatGPT applications, gross.

๐Ÿ‘‹ Snowboarder and cofounder of Big Snow with @briancasel.com. I've added you to our list for 2026. I'll send a save the date email in May. Any interest in starting a Big Snow Tiny Conf North West (we already have a West run by Dave Rodenbaugh out of Beaver Creek, CO)?

Results about you

I don't understand. Google promotes that they will remove results that contain your personal info and yet when I've requested they remove a shady scraping company's page that contains my personal phone number, they deny my request to remove it. What am I missing?
