The other tool I find myself using more as well is Perplexity. Especially for searchy type of questions it is superior as it gives you links.
Deepseek is a good tool and I find myself using it more but it has the same issue as with all AI bots. Its training stops in the past and it's stale. In this question it does mention 2023 as the year of reference where its knowledge ends.
