Diyor's Q&A responses.
What inspired you to choose nursing?
"Working as a home health aide and medical assistant opened my eyes to the challenges people face when their health is compromised. I realized how much trust people place in those who care for them, and how powerful that trust can be when it’s met with genuine empathy and skill. Becoming a nurse felt like a natural next step."
What’s the most powerful part of your role?
"The human connection, and the opportunity to make someone feel seen, heard, and cared for."

Q&A graphic shows two questions and responses:
What inspired you to become a nurse?
"During high school and initially in college, I wanted to be a photographer. Later, I started out in healthcare as a home health aide and found the role of a healer to be much more my style. I enjoyed being creative to meet each patient's needs."
What do you find rewarding in your role?
"I work on two interdisciplinary teams that provide psychiatric care to youth. I use my relational skills, which are critical to the nursing approach, to show them that they can trust me and that we can work together."
