Personally I love how customizable obsidian is, instead of removing anything, keep it optionnal with a on/off toggle.

I recently started using Linux on my Steam Deck and installed FreeTube, a third-party YouTube client. The customization options are fantastic! You can hide UI elements and even remove the app's logo. It would be amazing if all software offered this level of personalization.

Sometimes i’m afraid that I just got old and I’m like my boomer parents and dont understand tech anymore. But no, its just bad design.
