Mom used to make us read every word on the page whenever we use the dictionary. Such a good lesson!

For the same reason a print dictionary is a wonderful thing.

And he's a total sleezeball who deserves prison, or worse. 😉

Yes, the $1,232.50 per month is taxpayer money - but you mentioned 'full retirement' so many people, perhaps not yourself, would assume that meant he was fully vested in the retirement program - which he was not.

Not arguing with you - certainly many 'benefits' from being a former congressman.

You mentioned 'retirement and benefits' to which I assumed, maybe incorrectly, you meant benefits such as healthcare, etc.

No benefits, retirement pension will be 5 x 1.7% of salary, so 8.5% of $174K, and he can't collect until he's 62 I think- so 17 years from now. So. $1232.50 per month, beginning in 2043.
🫤
I take it back, he started congress in 2021, so he will get no congressional retirement. He's not at 5 years.

Well as a factual matter your correct, functionally it appears as though the U.S. is taking yet another supremely stupid step in this war.

I hope Canadians can hang on long enough to forgive us at some point.

So we will continue to spend $2,000,000,000 per day to prevent Iran from making $8M per day?

That’s winning?

So Iran blocked the Strait, but outsourced enforcement to the U.S. at zero cost.

Iran is alpha here and we’re the little dog trying to hang out with the big tough cool dogs.

After the White House complained about an unflattering photo of Karoline Leavitt, it was removed from AFP and Getty’s systems. This is the photo in question. Please do not repost it. 👇

So he just made the White House a legit military target.

Personally I've never understood removing voting rights from convicts. (One exception would be election related crimes.)

I feel like if you're in the custody of the State, you - more than most - should have a voice in the matters of the State.

Why do we take away voting from prisoners?

There is a whole thing about Trump bluffing.

TACO

It’s a thing because it’s true, Trump Always Chickens Out.

The minimum wage thing is a problem. It would restrict those jobs to only people who are already rich, and literally FORCE them to seek opportunities to profit from their offices.

The salary is about right, let’s just ban them from stock trades and fix the ethics process.

No supplemental for the war!

That being said - my point remains. Nobody should 'feed' the losing side of these bets, because you know FOR A FACT, that other betters have superior information.

And there is zero regulation, so there is nowhere to seek redress of any criminality by insiders.

I think you are correct - the 'early' bets are those without precise knowledge, but the inner circle (Trump's kids, etc.) who have real-time accurate information, appear to be betting very close to the time of the attack.

So, good intel can be gained, but if possible monitor Jr's bets is better.

So, exactly what I said. You have inferior information to those making the bets you want to track and divine. That's never a long-term winning position.

Well, Polymarket is regulated by....

Polymarket. Nobody but them, so if they're cool with what's going on, then you're outta luck - literally.

These markets need to be regulated, but MAGA exists - and they're taking bribes (and cashing wins), so that will not happen anytime soon.

They can be, and they are. The only solution is to not get in that market.

Who would willingly enter a market when you KNOW insiders have more information that you do?

Why didn’t Collins ask her about breaking the law? Her using those drugs was a violation for which many have been arrested, fined and/or incarcerated.

Does the nominee believe that laws should be broken in order to explore personal wishes?

Patel testified under oath: There is no evidence Epstein trafficked underage girls.

and

There is no evidence Epstein trafficked girls to anyone else.

When do we get Patel back on the hill to answer some questions, and put him in cuffs?

Hey Chip: what do you do if you’re carrying and stop to help a woman who just got pushed to the ground? While you’re helping her and the cops jump on your back?

When - in that scenario - do you show them your ID?

Because States Rights are important.

I think everyone should be eligible to vote (citizens, over 18) unless you're convicted of an election related crime.

The logic is - if you're in the custody of the state, you should ESPECIALLY have a voice in the matters of the state.
