Thinking back, the shamelessness of those who were against reparations for people who stood up against Ben Ali is all the more striking. People who remained silent for decades and whose first opportunity to open their mouths went to undermining what others suffered.

Once again, it's the same people who sacrificed their wellbeing for the sake of freedom and collective dignity under Ben Ali who are sacrificing themselves now.
