I like alot of the concepts of #orgMode in #emacs, but I don't want to learn emacs keybindings. I wonder if there is a #rustlang alternative with configurable hotkeys or an equivalent #TUI based tool (written in rust or go)

I saw "Project Hail Mary" last night. My take is that it was about 45 minutes too long, and could have used tighter editing. The story was simplistic with some obvious plot holes and the humor was basic. Ryan Gosling gave a great performance, and it was beautifully shot. A solid B- in my book.
my uncle died today.
Not expecting snow in March, but kinda a weird surprise wake up this morning.
It's allowed me to not hyperfocus on the project because I'm not worried about losing context. Previously, I'd lose all rest time (and sleep) because I'd obsess on finishing it before I lose steam and forgot things. Now, I can work on a single task, complete it, and then put it away.
Even if I don't continue to use these tools, I think I will continue to do the spec work for side projects because it's allowed me to put the projects down for a time, and then have context when I pick it back up again.
With my new position, I've had to learn "agentic coding", I'm a kinesthetic learner, so I've been using it for a side project. One side-effect of this has been that, now, on side projects, I actually spend the time specing out in detail what I want to build.
I hate when people say ‘He tells it like it is’ because he’s not based in reality at all. He just forces us all to believe in his truth completely against our will.
Pure joy in a new space with lots of room to bounce around #bungeedance much more coming as I put together my act for Silver Foxes.
First batches of beta invites are going out this weekend. If you aren't on the list, you'll have to wait until the next round: 1shot.humanfeed.app
So far, yes! I notice light more often, I notice shadow more often. I've recently added daily prompts, so that will also help focus me on the days when I don't feel focused.
I just added daily photo prompts to the app. So now, I have a focus each day on what to capture.
I created a new #ios #app for #daily intentional #photo journaling. I have a waitlist starting for when the beta is ready. It should be ready by Mar 1. 1shot.humanfeed.app
I’ve been using Claude as a productivity coach for the last few weeks and I’ve learned a few things that I’m going to probably turn into a guided journal for my adhd. It’s been good at helping me see patterns
One of my #bungeedance students showed me an instagram video and asked if she could learn a specific move from it, so.. I taught it to myself this morning. Not perfect, but definitely doable
Next week at my new job is what is called "Vibes Week" which is really just an all hands week. I'm going to make some chocolates to share with the office. I need to make 50 or so.
First day new job. Gym at 6am again. Guh.
A couple of useful #rustlang macros that I keep reusing when doing domain modeling: technodruid.org/blog/useful-...
hah yeah me too.. I'm nervous since it's been so long.
I have a day job starting on Monday. In an office... it's been like 8 years since that was true.
Not because it’s a new year but because I’m starting a new job, it’s time to reestablish some baseline habits.
Oh. I thought I fixed that! Maybe I forgot to deploy. Thanks for the heads up!
#BungeeDance is Seattle is restarting and with an additional location! bungee.help/studios/ to see where and found out more!
Starting a day job again in the new year. I've always been a notetaker because my memory is shit. Debating between Circa/Arc/TUL notebook + nice pen, and a Supernote Nomad (one is clearly more expensive than the other).
I use obsidian for long term thinking, but for work notes?
