Yes, they do. We've treated multiple kitties already. Our first one was about four years ago. Can't believe how much the price of treatment has gone down since then. Which I am very grateful for.

CHRYSTAL UPDATE
X-rays showed fluid in her lungs and abdomen. I left her at the vet to have the lungs drained & the procedure went well. Doc is 90% sure it's FIP. I'm trying to find meds to start treatment asap. Our vet bill is $580. Please consider a small donation to help us save Chrystal's life.

Where in central Iowa are you located? I will be moving there soon to be close to my daughter and her family. They live in Runnels, which is outside of Des Moines. It would be nice to have some rescue friends once I'm there.

Banana would like to let everyone know that he is feeling much better!
It took a week of meds and syringe feeding to get him to finally eat on his own, but he now devours the wet food he gets three times a day. His energy level is also back to where it should be for a kitten his age.

Filly has been one of the most difficult kittens I have ever taken care of. From completely covering herself in food while eating, to peeing and pooping anywhere but the litter box, she has been more work than some large litters. At least she doesn't mind getting baths 😸

I received a call from the people taking care of him and his littermates that he wasn't eating and was lethargic. After going to check on him, I decided to take him home with me to try to get him better. He's very weak, with a classic triangle face indicating malnutrition.
She was just adopted!

Blaze is my personal cat. He was the one that got me started in cat rescue, after I pulled him from animal control as a very sick 6-week-old kitten. Prior to that, I only rescued dogs.

Babies are currently on three different meds for diarrhea, and an antibiotic for the upper respiratory issue. They are starting to eat a bit better and have gained a little weight.

Picked up these two from transport earlier today. They are thought to be about 3 weeks old. Lighter brown is a boy and darker brown is a girl. Both are dehydrated, the girl has an upper respiratory issue, and the boy has bad diarrhea. Started them on different meds. Hoping they'll be better soon.
Kind of a bittersweet day today. My bottle babies went to a new foster home with another rescue. Feels a little weird walking into the bathroom and not having them climb up my legs or play with my shoelaces. Took these picks before I dropped them off. Aren't they adorable?

They actually did great eating it the way it is. The consistency of Royal Canin's Mother and Baby Cat mousse is perfect for weaning kittens. It's super soft.
Lyra is ready to find her very own humans. She is an 8-month-old Siamese/Tabby mix and a total sweetheart.
Lyra has very unusual eyes. They are only partially blue, and the rest is colorless. Does anyone else's kitty have this feature?
