Theory 3: It was the Yi Peng 3 and they did it maliciously. I don't know how or why China would do this and I see little to no benefit in any aspect of geopolitics.

possible theories. Theory 1: The Yi Peng 3 accidentally damaged the cables with their anchor. Anchor damage is the number one cause of accidental undersea cable damage. It could have been them but accidentally and not maliciously.

Conclusions drawn from open source data regarding the undersea cables that were damaged. The Yi Peng 3 had their transponder on basically their entire trip. I find it hard to believe they'd leave their transponder on while simultaneously damaged critical infrastructure and playing dumb. I have three
