Go BotMasterz! Yesterday I attended a Robotics competition in support of Grosse Pointe Schools’ all-girl robotics team. The girls are smart, capable, & talented. I learned about robotics & the competitions. Team generosity & community service also play into being a winning team. #GPPSS #ROBOTICS

On this International Women’s Day, let’s celebrate Viola Liuzzo, who gave her life for civil rights — for voting rights, for us all to have a voice. (1st photo is memorial headstone at location she was shot and killed; 2nd photo is her portrait at the church at that location.)

WTAF UK. You’re enabling WW3 and a lawless tyrant who sets up wars and violence for his ego. (Apparently for all Republican caucus egos.)
Republican tyrants are making your energy costs go up. They dont care about your life and how you live it. Affordability means zero to them. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/01/b...
Good fucking grief.

In this first night of what would otherwise be a celebratory time of Hanukkah, I am moved by the above quote from Anne Frank.
I wish all who celebrate Hanukkah peace and light, strength and courage.
This morning I attended a celebration of a neighborhood Little Free Pantry. Resident Mariel Krupansky recognized a need for accessible food. She contacted GPP Schools robotics team - Botmasterz - which was looking for a community project. The team built the pantry! Thanks Mariel & Botsmasterz!
House Republicans voted to gut over $644 million in funding for projects including hospitals, Dr & nurse training, firefighter equipment, school districts, shelters, foster care kids. They gave Democratic committee members less than 5 minutes to review a list of projects and refused to discuss.
