Definitely need more of these, yes.

And accessibility aside, the result is art that just isn’t even effective or good. Perhaps for the very reason that so many facets of it are outsourced to paid professionals without much collaboration taking place. Like when visuals have no relation to the music, they just ‘look cool’.

So much art and performance is really just a display of wealth. A massive spectacle does little more than convey ‘LOOK HOW HUGE OUR BUDGET WAS’ and leaves me feeling cavernously empty.

Simplicity and limitations draw out the truest artistry.
