Easter Sunday in West Yorkshire. Dodged the rain at The Piece Hall in Halifax, followed by some book shopping and Woody’s pizza in Hebden Bridge.

I’m over in Hebden Bridge and love Vocation, but this seems more about the changing landscape of Manchester. Even though Didsbury has always been pricey, I lived it up there in my 20s on a budget I could actually manage. Honestly, I think I’d struggle to afford a night out there now.

The price of beer in Manchester is still climbing. After that £7.50 pint I mentioned a while ago, a friend just sent over a photo from a bar in Didsbury. They are currently charging £10.70 for a pint of Vocation Love & Hate. #BskyBeer
