I feel sick to my stomach waiting around to see what atrocity Trump has in mind for the people of Iran this evening. It's hard to fathom our other elected leaders aren't able to check him in any meaningful way. It's an indictment not just of voters but of our whole system. We're ruled by a mad king.

Old WASP here. Mom was a minister. My religious upbringing included going to different churches-catholic, Methodist, a synagogue, etc. I went to a college founded by Quakers. All was about finding connections and understanding. Never hate. This needs to stop.

Bad idea. ICE is pre-funded by the BBB. Also, CBP is just as bad if not worse and also pre-funded by the BBB. Severing ICE gives away any leverage we have to shut down the rest of DHS. We should be demanding to defund ICE/CBP of its BBB money and shut down ALL of DHS if they don’t agree.
The corporate complicity in the spread of American fascism needs to be called out. Glad to see this truth teller who was willing to quit her job rather than support the fascists.

Our economic system doesn’t work if 37% of people on food assistance are working full time. These companies are exploiting and stealing from their workers.
Hubby had OHS a few years ago too. Hospital followed ERAS. He was like the energizer bunny after, feeling so much better. However the recovery still took time for him to get back to normal, lots of naps. It’s a tough surgery.
It’s not enough to simply thank our veterans for their service.
Millions of them rely on SNAP and the ACA.
Many struggle with PTSD and worry about access to mental health services.
Today, on Veterans Day, let’s renew our commitment to keep fighting for those who fought for us.
