I give them the choice, either potions to cure the poisoned or paralyzed conditions, and no mixing/matching.

Well, I hadn’t planned on having these Monsters paralyze people.
But now they will, at least some of the big scary ones.

They don’t actually have any intel on the monsters tho, they’re are just assuming they’ll do something like that.
Ok, cool, so I have them roll their checks, and they’re able to find what they’re looking for, and are able to craft some potions back at camp.

During our last session my players were traveling to a ruined city, that they know houses some large insectoid monsters. In preparation for this they wanted to find materials that would allow them to craft some potions that could cure poison or paralysis.

Update: Happy ending. The man who lives in my old apartment hadn’t even checked the mail recently. He was very nice about everything.
He even asked me a question about my old internet provider. Apparently the cable is still poking out of the wall lol.
