I'm going to start publicly calling out campaigns that text me because they bought my number from a list. Not just because I've run out of patience, but because if *I* am this annoyed, then I can't even imagine what it's doing to Democrats' reputation among casual voters.
Please add “Democracy First PAC” to your list! I’ve never donated to them, never signed up for anything from them, and don’t even know who they are, but they harass me throughout the day from different numbers and won’t stop.
Once upon a time campaigns used to use emails and/or texts to keep you updated with news from the campaign and I frequently subscribed to those. But now it’s all relentless begging that I never asked for and can’t make it stop.
Yes! We need people who have large audiences to help with this. Plus when you unsubscribe or block they just text you from a different number. Even if I wanted to, why would I donate to a campaign or group that doesn’t even respect my request not to annoy me?

People are uninformed. They like the policies but don’t necessarily associate them with the Democratic Party. There were some polls that asked about policies and large swaths of people thought the Democratic policies, which they liked, were Trump’s. Hell, many think Biden banned abortion.
