Some things I've seen over the years that you should not do in AAD
1.) Make a copy of real customer data for dev or test environments
2.) Use scripts leveraging Partner Center to iterate through all of your customer environments
3.) Deploy passwordless auth to the entire company w/out testing

it's a minor distinction, but one that bears mentioning: every org canceling their DEI programs on threat of losing federal funding is *complying in advance*, without making the government go through the labor and cost to actually cut that funding.
