Four skeins of yarn - two purple/pink skeins from Trava & Wool, two green skeins from Little Grey Girl
I had a brilliant day out at Woolly Good yesterday seeing friends, eating fancy Edinburgh porridge, doing some beginner's weaving and, importantly, buying yarn

I think young men who want women to find them masculine and attractive should get into butchmaxxing (wearing flannel shirts, hiking, adopting shelter animals, doing DIY repair jobs for useless lesbians)

Fellow creators of horrible chimeras, what do you do with the spare parts? I've got a lot of bird heads, snake middles and human legs lying about the flat and I don't want them to go to waste.

A beautiful woman with blonde hair and cold-pinked cheeks (that's me) gazes at a wooden sculpture of a hawk
A black lino print of a crow who looks like he has opinions
A pair of shorts made from star wars print fabric
A metal sculpture of a green man
I had a very relaxed easter weekend of arts, crafts and little trips - I tried lino printing, gave blood, went to Greenbank Gardens and threw together a pair of pyjama shorts from scrap fabric

A still from a black and white Betty Boop cartoon showing a small girl with shaggy curls and big eyes held in the arms of a darker, taller and much stronger-looking similarly-featured person. The diminutive figure is Betty Boop and the larger, her boyfriend Fearless Freddy. Betty is wearing a little black dress and Freddy a pair of short shorts and a white vest with LIFE GUARD written on the front.

Did some writing, gave blood, read another book, which I think means I get to play Divinity Original Sin 2 the rest of the evening!
(I need to live my best life this weekend so I don't get too much Eastercon FOMO)

Fiction, I read a fair amount of literary fiction, and some classics and old gothics.
Non-fiction, I read a lot of popular history and science, and some true crime.
I'm also in a book club at work, which gets me reading the odd memoir, contemporary or crime novel I wouldn't normally pick up.

Three panel comic. Panel 1: a green heron points to the ski excitedly while a space shuttle flies away. The heron says, “the humans are all leaving! Panel 2: the heron continues, “we can finally enjoy the unaltered beauty of the earth!” Panel 3: the heron stands smiling. Behind it a group of beavers wearing hard hats and safety gear are building a giant log structure. Two of them are looking at a blueprint, another in the back is using a chainsaw.

In context, it comes across as more bored/childish. It's a fidget Cathy does at the dinner table while listening to Edgar and Isabella argue about going to see a hanging.
