Maybe one day if I stick around another 10 or 20 years. Thanks for the confidence vote though.
Will AaN appear on the Hugo nominations tomorrow in any form? Probably not? But some of the authors we have worked with might be on it and that is the important thing to cheer for.
Places of private conversations.
Bars, diners, tea houses, touristing to backwater planets. Sifting around in unassuming private places.
Almost feel like the stories of yours I have published may be part of a larger world/work you are building.
Excellent job.
And a woodshop.
The unfolded and assembled set of display shelves, counter area and signage display made from plywood, in the back trunk of a car.
All components compactly folded and stored.
Think AaN has a working - mobile, foldable, collapsable bookshop that fits in the trunk of the car. Ready for pop-ups, farm markets and maker trunk shows in parking lots. The signage display area on the right can go on the left, depending on which way the wind needs to be blocked.
Again I’m late, but I am beyond honored to say I am one of the authors featured in @aanpress.bsky.social’ Light a Match - Start a Revolution project. These matchboxes, containing micro stories and amazing pieces of work.

Will the quirkiness catch the eye of passersby and entice them to buy books ... we shall see in June.
Mobile bookstore display shelves and folding counter, now with a vertical signage display section being sized along with the sliding supports. All out of plywood, in the back of a Kia Niro.
Sizing the side sliding supports and vertical display section (have just cut these to size and will do another test fit tomorrow)
Thank you. Winging it mostly. Hopefully everything else I want to do will slot in well. More photos as it progresses
three tiers of shelves and a large counter area, all modular and folding. fits in the trunk of a Kia Niro
mobile bookshop version 2.0 in progress test fit
Was able to close the AaN D2D account just now.
Yes Confluence.
Much appreciated. See you soon I hope.

I've never seen Montmartre. It has such a presence, fantastical, mutable, irreal in fictions that i can't imagine recognising it in real life. Today's example, @singingtotigers.bsky.social evocative "La bibliotheque d'objets quotidiens" is saturated with a yearning hope of ideas and generosity.

"Tea or Coffee, Stars, and Gravity" copy edits are off to the respective authors. Getting closer to sending the book to the printer.
We are already 25% of the way to covering some very modest material costs and author payments (due to a few completist collector friends here in Pittsburgh). All money raised beyond production cost will be donated to www.transyounitingpgh.org
I'm so glad I got to write one of these matchbox stories! If you find yourself at the AaN tables, I hope you'll like them, too.
