Even in our polarized country, more and more people from left, right, and center are coalescing to demand change.

It's happening because a freedom-loving nation does not allow masked, militarized government agents to violate our civil liberties.

Terrorism is the calculated use of violence or threat of violence to induce fear, intending to coerce governments or societies to achieve political, religious, or ideological goals. It often targets civilians and critical infrastructure to disrupt safety and advance specific agendas.

The weirdest thing about Americans is how many of them think their laws apply to every person in the world.
But they're certain other countries' laws don't apply to them.

Today the Pentagon censured Senator Mark Kelly and moved to strip part of his earned military retirement benefits for stating the truth.

This administration is trying to convince Americans that truth is whatever it says it is—even when the evidence is plainly in front of us.

I’m in the same boat as you, paddling in a circle. I’ve had students copy/paste the followup query “would you like me to…” at the bottom of their paper. They’re not proofreading. I’m wasting time on reference pages with dead links & fake placeholder titles. I’m confirming receipt of useless info.

I find myself mentally, emotionally & physically drained after grading papers & responding to online discussion forums with students who don’t realize (or care about) the obvious signs of AI abuse in their work. I’m investing more time than they did to prompt & copy/paste their work. 🫩

Well hello there SoCal heat.
My poor coffee was struggling in the car. I said I would be “no more than 10 minutes” so I didn’t put up my windshield visor — 1.5 hours later, I hop in the car after loaded several shopping bags. Gotta give it to the ice. They held on! 😂

Watching the streets of east side LA get emptier and whiter this week has been chilling. This is a city of immigrants and it feels so hollow when they can’t participate in public life without fear

Despite the terrorist assassination this morning, there are thousands of people on the Minnesota State Capitol lawn to demand no kings, no oligarchs, and no ICE.

Police advice is to call the police to see if police are really at your door. Must apply to ICE etc as well. No more masks. Clear name badges and IDs. Warrants.

And the feds must stop arresting and roughing up elected officials for asking questions. This can inspire violence. Games must stop now.

Take side streets. Just like we do when it’s a parking lot on the 101. Don’t attempt to exit a convenient ramp. Exit wide and then come in narrow. Gotta be tactical and then operationalize! Be safe out there!

Opinion | Obama Isn’t Going to Save You

“… I think what people are really remembering is a country where an Obama speech mattered.

What they must accept — if we are to do the hard work before us — is that we no longer have that country.”

The "delicate, beautiful, tiny" fascism of Kristi Noem The right thinks Noem is the victim of Sen. Padilla's assault. But what about Rep. McIver?

The suggestion that Kristi Noem, a white woman, is the "delicate, beautiful, tiny" victim after a Latino man is physically dragged out of a room fits into the admin's pretext of criminality it attaches to people who are not white.

Like Rep. LaMonica McIver.
