A little heartbroken to have bubbled out on my tiebreakers again at a major event.
Hard not to be proud of 18/264 but several of us were certain that 16 locked us in after the Boil’s results.
Brought back flips into Kinnan which felt cool to play again at the least :)
I had hoped to get my breakdown of The Boil’s Top 16 out by today.
Sadly I ran out of time before I have to drive to Ohio for Misplay On The Lake.
Super excited to get out there and the Boil video should be hitting the channel by Monday evening if all goes well!

I went undefeated today with Tivit at the Kraken’s Cup!!!!
Ended Swiss in first at 3-0-2 and won the finals :D
4-0-2 on the day feels great 😊

R2- win on board opponent was able to deal lethal cmdr damage under rule of law, ranger captain and blockers
R3- cut an Urza flip into a Tezzeret in a birthing pod deck
R5- cut another urza into Hullbreaker horror w/ floodcaller on board
Semis- lost before I got a turn
Took Winota for a spin this weekend and made Top 16.
Honestly still feel pretty good about the deck for having, objectively, one of the unluckiest tournaments of my career 😅 I’ll drop some examples below.

Woke up at 4am today with one of the worst cases of food poisoning I have ever had.

Was sad earlier that my health kept me from driving to NY for Gold’s b day tourney but happy with how things broke down after I was able to rest and heal for a few hours.

Ended today in 2nd (1st leaving Swiss) on Superior Spider-Man!
Decklist was a blast to play and I might try it again next weekend at the 5k!!!
Ended 3-1-1 on the day only losing in the finals to an epic series of opponent draws and plays! :)
