I find it’s still hard to find casual play outside of 1v1s. I think I still prefer 1v1, but I’ve never had the chance to play 2v2 and I bet very few people have. So it’s hard to say for sure.

(The fact that there are official rules for 2v2 sealed and I can’t find a game is criminal)

This is an interesting idea, but I don’t think it’s for me. I want to build a feed that other people can leverage and see a community build around it. I don’t have interest in a specialized, customized, “For You” feed.

I also don’t think atproto has a discovery problem. It has a volume problem.

I’ve been so busy seething at the idea that this card should be printed at all, that I didn’t even notice the reference.

Riftbound balance appears to be non-existent, or at the very least indefensible. I used to say that purple tricks were “at least” action speed, when unbounded. No longer.

Nice, I see you’re also on the blue Ezreal tech! How’ve you been finding the Svellsonguer’s? I’ve felt that outside the context of Ornn they are very underwhelming

I think my biggest speed bumps with the game are where it differs from MTG, but it’s been a joy watching my partner pick it up and their first TCG. And they find that interaction natural, because to them “play the card” means “get the effect on the card”

Eh… they’ve been previewing well ahead of schedule. Chinese previews for set 3 (Unleashed) start this month, coming out in May for English versions.

The roadmap they’ve shared is 1 set a quarter, with rotation after 2 years.

Nah, English release was at the tail end of October 2025.

I think they’re a good safety valve for a first sealed experience. It’s easy to get a sealed pool that pulls in too many directions and it can be overwhelming trying to make those decisions on a time limit when there are no bombs opened.

Pool was a bit weaker than expected for the Riftbound pre-rift but still went 2-1 losing to a Draven legend, so I’m not too salty.

Ended up with good trades for upcoming spiritforged decks though, including my first Zenith Blade 😍

Which, to be fair, he very much could be. I'm more concerned about lack of colour representation in Set 2 at high level play.

A lot of purple. Only one deck with yellow, possibly because it can't access purple.

Kind of underwhelming. As someone unfamiliar with LoL, seeing upcoming Riftbound legends in key art does nothing for me.

I was hoping the devs would actually summarize their view of the health of the game, and while the insight into the metrics was interesting, my only takeaway was "Draven is fine"

(Did I maybe read the date wrong and cause my own problems? Of course)
