I do think it says a lot about the caliber of writers currently getting work on big budget stuff that the Mummy movie that skirted the xenophobia issue the best was the one from 1999 that also has a racist cartoon character in it.

I don't even know if chatgpt is an app or is it on the browser or what, I have never even felt the need to find out where AI is and how to use it, it's so little of interest to me. I love creating! So why would I let someone else come eat my steak and fuck my wife etc!?

Y'know, los bros Hernandez both said something to that effect in an interview way back when. They know they need something to happen between "thing I just drew" and "next thing," so, eh... leave it blank till you figure it out. Their pacing is legendary.

Here the timelapse for today’s post. Differently from other pieces, this was for once a relaxing experience. I think I got the idea of the setting inspired by the tavern seen early on in the Witcher 3 game:)

graphite drawing of an ancient dog. noted down words – a waitress at the beach restaurant I was having dinner at explains the dog is 20 years old, has a daughter that is 17, & has lived all her life on the island (ilha grande). yes I did feed restaurant food to the dog
& an old dog I met last fall
'At first he thought there were five, but there were only four-one was in two pieces. None of them looked as if he-she-it-had died easily or with any serenity. Their faces were ugly and long-snouted. Their eyes were filmed over to the whiteness of cataracts. Their lips were drawn back in uniform snarls. Their skins were scaly but transparent-he could see frozen muscles laid in crisscross patterns around jaws, temples, and necks. They had no teeth.' -Book 3, chapter 7, pg 615.
