For the few who may be interested, @pierkisser.bsky.social wrote an update - any extra money raised beyond the original target will not be wasted! They have already had to shell out thousands of their own cash recently for Victor. All donations will go towards his ongoing vet needs and his rehab.

I know we generally say bad things about the other place, but there are still pockets of goodness alive and kicking there. Friends of @pierkisser.bsky.social have been raising cash for surgery for her lovely rescue dog Victor. Within 24 hours we reached the target! t.co/oulrU59kL9
