A CSS-only drawing of Chris Coyier (yes, it's not a joke)
Chris created CSS Tricks, and I am using CSS Tricks to draw @chriscoyier.net. The loop is looped! 😆
Demo: codepen.io/t_afif/full/... via @codepen.io
Each drawing is a single div and a single shape() value! Yes, only one shape for a complex drawing 👀
Another (crazy) demo using modern CSS.

An embroidery hoop containing a sewn aerial view landscape. It depicts an apple orchard in bloom in the centre, allotments to the left and sheep in their field at the bottom. Train tracks go past the top of the orchard and allotment.
Sewn train tracks past an apple orchard (to the left).
An angled view of a sewn vegetable allotment surrounded by rough land, trees and with train tracks to the left.
An angled view of embroidered bushes and paths going through them leading to an orchard, allotment and fields.
'A simple (perfect) life' - my spring landscape is finally finished! An apple orchard in bloom, old railway, sheep with their lambs and an allotment being prepared for growing :) Zoom in to see all the other tiny details too... I think this might be my favourite aerial embroidery I've ever done!

I made* a little website home for all these quotes I've been writing down in a notes app for the last decade. It's very colourful thanks to one of @mrmrs.bsky.social's many colour projects 😅
*vibecoded, ugh.

./garden in a terminal, it generates a colourful rendering of a simple randomly constructed garden, utf8 characters for flowers with varying length stems, and in this case a single bee hovering above. it is extremely calming, for something so simple looking
me (in a bad mood): what the fuck is ~/bin/garden
me (in a good mood): oh.

This level in @enclose.horse is so far the level I liked the most :
- Mobile grid version make it easier to read and interact with.
- items like bees and golden apple makes the score less obvious (I’m not doing the math in my head)

Introducing Purrsor! 😺🖱️
For years, I've been using Bongo Cat as my browser cursor.
Now it's available for anyone to use, configurable, and just one click away 🎉
You'll get used to it, trust me.

So the flipper anti-stalling mechanic for Bumper Bout that took off on Reddit the other day inspired me to make some changes.
Visually it looks more like overheating and a negative build up now, but also there's a slight delay so flipper mashers aren't punished.

Made this 3D animated puppy that I rendered into a 2D 1-bit style spritesheet CSS animation for my website. Weekend project went a bit overtime, but had to get it done before I'm off travelling 😪

Learn to make this shader ;)
While shaders may initially seem complex, I’ll help you see them in a new light 🌈
Learn fragment shaders in a new way that helps you truly understand the fundamentals, giving you the confidence and inspiration to write your own shaders.
