fry from futurama is making a funny face with his red hair ALT: fry from futurama is making a funny face with his red hair

Hey there! I thought I would never meet the one person who like the ending..

It’s good to know that you exist in real life. Or do you?

If we can add Street Fighter characters to Streets of Rage on an MD cart, then we most certainly can achieve this...surely.

The demand might not be as big, but I know there has to be a way to get this to happen.

Found (today in the shed) the Sensi Soccer Radica box, look on the back of the TV. Video components are there :-). Yellow and White. ..... And it works.

Italy V Luxembourg
5 - 1

Still got it. :-)

It's faster than the Amiga and three buttons... Goal! Love it.

In case you're wondering...

it's been 17 days since a reporter was added to a Signal group chat where our government officials were sharing war plans.

And nobody has been fired...

Don't stop talking about SignalGate

Which is why billionaires should not exist. By law. The excess should go back to the people who made it possible. The dividend Alaskans get, because of the oil in Alaska, belongs to all the citizens of Alaska. As citizens of the world we all deserve a billionaire dividend for making them possible!

The market for slightly shouty middle aged men in cycling media is saturated. Imagine how much better it could be with more female voices?

Mitch McConnell is a heartless bastard who will rot in hell. He corrupted our Supreme Court and gave tRump a boost to set him on the path to where he is. So he’s no hero. He is less than a zero.

Breaking: Trump Just Surrendered To Canada Mark Carney is a Goddamned revelation...

I certainly enjoyed reading this. Perhaps there are lessons to be learned on this side of the Atlantic?

Maria holds her wand aloft. Beams of light spread from her wand as it extends.

She says "it's time... to clean the patio."

And then she uses the magic from her wand to blow the leaves away and then wash the patio down.

Her cat says "you shouldn't really use magic for chores."

Maria retorts "as you're a cat, you shouldn't really talk."

Sorry Magic and Taxes is late today. To make up for it, this is my favourite one I've drawn yet.

Inside the Battle to Ride Mountain Bikes on Mount Tamalpais After years of work, cycling advocates got the go-ahead to ride trails on the iconic California mountain. But a court order stopped the plan dead in its tracks.

‘So immoral’: gig economy workers forced to pay fee to receive their wages Retail assistants on low pay using YoungOnes platform docked cash or told to wait up to 30 days for earnings

YoungOnes charges gig workers 4.8% of their earnings to be paid in one minute or 2.9% to be paid in three days. If they decline, they typically have to wait 30 days. Previously the workers were paid in three days, without a charge www.theguardian.com/business/202...

Still can't ride currently, so no new content for a while now. Time to raid the archives for some favourite riding selfies to get things started on the new platform.

Pedant’s

Foot soldiers in the War on Error,
They’re here to save us from ourselves,
With Fowler’s Modern English Usage
(first edition, nineteen twelve).

They scrutinise each word we write
For typos, gaffes, et cetera,
Correcting all the dumb mistakes
To make our grammar betterer.

They sigh and tut and tell us off
For the rules we have forsaken
And chart this nation’s steep decline
By the care we should of taken.

Custodians of the King’s English,
They merely serve to keep it pure
And restrict, they hope, the ignorant
To three mistakes or less.

And in doing so, they hold no fear
they will deprive a thing of life:
for it’s not important what is said,
what matters is that its right.

I’m fed up with people pointing out all the mistakes in my poetry so I’ve written them this poem; it’s called ‘Pedant’s’.

Monetization

The advert said
MONETIZE YOUR FOLLOWERS
so he thought
he would respond;

by painting them
in the changing light,
like waterlilies
in a pond.

Frisbee

Frisbee whizzing
through the air,
above our heads,
over the sand,
into the water,
onto the waves,
out to sea.

You cried a lot that day.
Frisbee was a lovely dog.

Needles

                    I
               wrote
              a poem
          in the shape
        of a Christmas
     tree but then forgot
to water it and only a few
                days
                later

         there
                                       were
words
                   all over

           the

                                    carpet

Needles I wrote a poem in the shape of a Christmas tree but then forgot to water it and only a few days later there were words all over the carpet

Today’s poem is called ‘Needles’.

Roles

He never got to play
the part of Joseph;
he was one of those kids
who no one noticed.

The type barely seen
and more rarely heard,
not a Herod or Innkeeper,
no Second Shepherd.

He never got to wear
the crown of a king
or the wings of an angel
(no one knew he could sing).

No, instead he would be
Brown Cow Number Four,
A Rock or A Bauble,
The Stable Door.

And now – forty years on –
it still made him wince,
for it seemed that his life
hadn’t changed that much since.
