"It is customary to get to know each other before moving onto the friendship phase."

Anby threw one leg over the other, crossing her legs as she tilts her head at Lily.

"I do not laugh easy. Or at the very least, I do not laugh at things not related to people I know or care about. Humor in films tends to fall flat for me."

She stares up blankly, no hint of any emotion on her face, let alone fear.
