Wish I could tell you. I was designing things, but didn't really keep track of what happened with the miniatures after sketches and blueprints left my desk. The only Klingon ships I worked on were the Vor'cHa and the Negh'Var.

Well, looks like the ground was busy with smaller rumblings after the 3.9 last night. Haven't felt the small ones, so onward.

Oh, I have hirez files, but I don't hand those out, sorry. But thanks for the nod. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Well, cetaceans certainly seem to know 3D movement pretty well, so I figured it would be interesting to invite them nicely to join us. There are, of course, humans on the big ship as well. ๐Ÿ™‚ Painted back in the mid-'80s, and based on a space-suited Tursiops I did in 1975 or so.

When I was at Paramount, probably at the start of TNG, Kimble came by we talked for a while about his inking and airbrush techniques, and he gave me a few sepia prints of the poster line work. Amazing. I still read through his article in Airbrush Digest occasionally.

Very cool. But my visual brain freaked out just a teeny bit; the camera is stationary in space with respect to the light source and the object is rolling underneath. Get that ship into a proper orbit, man. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The first time I saw "First Spaceship on Venus" was at like 2am on a local station (late 70s?). What hit me was the circular bridge with consoles around, main viewscreen, two central control consoles, international crew. Hmmm... ๐Ÿ˜€

Definitely not making light of the problem with egg availability and prices, but I figure that if I forego getting one bottle of wine, I can put that toward a dozen eggs, and make those last a few weeks. Maybe a little longer; one every other day. Hoping for a fix to the whole bird flu crisis.

Basically nice 70หš day here in SoCal; sunny with some clouds/haze, but good enough for 2.3 miles walking about the neighborhood. Might actually hit the Van Nuys park tomorrow with some lunch. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Felt a little jiggle at 0630 this morning, maybe one second. USGS had nothing initially, but MyShake nailed it as a 3.5 in Malibu. Couple of minutes later USGS showed it. USGS seems to be having glitches with their e-quake map, and they say so on their site.

Thanks! Fun assignment back in the day. Also did the cover for the Caedmon "War of the Worlds" by H.G. Wells. Not my best human figure, but liked doing it anyhow. ๐Ÿ˜

Still happy that my APC backup batt is connected to my iMac, my big Anker powerbank is charged up, I have an extra little LED flashlight in my pocket to go along with the light on my phone. Monitoring the TV news and the LADWP outage map. With any luck the rain will tail off in a few hours.

Starting to post here in Bluesky and should increase the frequency soon. Will post some of the same msgs over on FB for a while. Anyhow, the rain's coming down pretty hard here in the San Fernando Valley in SoCal where I am. Anyone else in similar weather, stay dry and safe.

Still learning how everything works over here in the land of the Blue Sky, but I'll be posting more soon, you bet. And a big hello to folks who posted that they're following me; looks like I've got some follow responses to click. ๐Ÿ˜
