They went from anatomically incorrect illustrations, to sword yielding incorrect illustrations. Let's call that "progress".

This one hits hard.
I'm particularly fond of the MCP server (mcp.goagain.dev) which allows me to ask questions about cards, and look for cards hand in hand with Claude.
Down the road I think I'll also add the rules of the game to it, so that it becomes even better at designing decks based on my needs. #fabtcg
It's public, open-source, free to use, and runs on a tiny VPS of mine on a goodwill basis. If it's useful to you, feel free to use it, and let me know what you think.
I'd be happy to integrate feedback. I would even prefer to discuss and merge contributions if any.
I built a little #fabtcg thing or two over the week-end: goagain.dev
I really wanted a MCP server to provide AI agents knowledge about Flesh and Blood cards: mcp.goagain.dev.
As I was at it, I also wanted an API so I could build tiny automations involving cards: api.goagain.dev/docs.

Went to my first two RTNs. Won exactly one game. I love the game, but man am I tempted to just give up. Also anyone who's like "but, I don't get it Kassai is good" never had to play 6 games in a row against wizards, Mario, and feng with it. #fabtcg
PS: yes, I know I suck at this game.
Which was also the case of high seas (c.f. Puffin and Marlynn). There’s a design pattern here.
« No, you’re breath taking »
On the upper side of things, woke up at 4 this morning to finish the drive, and let me tell you: if you want the autobahn experience, the Kassel-Frankfurt A7 no-limit segment, early in the morning is the way to go.
We had carefully planned our 7h trip to Strasbourg from Berlin by car in preparation of our moving there.
Turned into a 12h half-way drive, 9 of which were spent stuck/stopped on the highway be cause of massive car crashes.
I guess the issue for us has just been that it’s been hard to keep up with the cadence solely because there’s no track community here that I know of. This all the new mechanics introduced in every set felt very over the top. That’s a very personal feeling though, not making a general rule if it 😇
Hehe, I’m indeed waiting for her to be back ! Playing her in sage reminded me she’s the only hero I really got to master. She looks so cool too, I feel connected to the character.
Yesterday, I asked Claude (in cursor) what the best way to go about deploying my tiny app to my VPS would be. As a side-effect of that, it offered to create a private repository for it, and to add an ansible role to my setup also. Which, it did, both, with approval but no supervision.
Which would be fine if competitive CC decks were 50E. But they're not.
I sometimes feel like the whole game is gate kept by its prices, and the chasm between players who have been around forever (with a high level and large collection) and new players being punished for not being there earlier.
It was Slippy. It hit me hard. I started with Aurora: 3 months later banned. I continued with Slippy: ban the only card that made the deck somewhat function. Now switched to Kassai, but the big players are picking it up, and already rush it to LL.
We love that game with my wife, we play it all the time, but the community building is a total miss. Here in Germany there's no one to play with, or if there is, no easy way to find them and connect.
Also, we can't keep up with new content. We essentially treat it as a board game at this point.
Also, yeah, SAGE, I'm actually excited about the format, and I had the best games ever with that format. Will probably stick to it in the future: short, every decision matters, lots of tension, love it.
But unless they start seriously shifting gears, I don't see myself sticking to cc.
I think there's a fundamental issue in how cards/rarity is printed, and how that relates to meta management in FAB.
I'd like them to see the light. I love the game, but if even a relatively rich person like myself gets turned down by the cost of the game, imagine the impact on "normal" players.
I hear the argument about meta rotation quite often. It's sound and healthy, in theory.
In practice, if you don't have a pre-existing, vast collection; switching deck represents an enormous cost. Any freaking deck in the game is still to this day >600E.
It was slippy. The Bonds ban basically took its fangs. I think there were better bans, but that's another discussion.
I really do wonder why no one uses GitHub Copilot. This will be a mystery for historians to solve, I guess?!
Cool cool cool.
Happy to beta test or participate in any user research you‘d run 🙇♂️
I love your app, it's super easy to use and elegant!
Two small pieces of feedback after using for some weeks:
* I'm alway confused that the opposite player selection is at the bottom and vice versa.
* For big life loss, sometimes the change is accepted too quick, leading to wrong scores.
I think that's it. I think, I'm out. #fleshandblood
After 9 months of playing, LSS has banned or killed 3 the decks I've played, due to poor design choices. They keep repeating the same mistakes, and at this point, playing feels like burning money.
