I’ve never thought about this before, but a company having 4, 5, or more rounds of interviews actually looks bad on the company’s part, because it shows that they’re indecisive or worse, disorganized. I interviewed for a game studio that did 7 rounds and I should have just quit when I saw that.

Today I'm still dealing with a voracious appetite and I guess lack of electrolytes(?) because I also feel hungover despite zero alcohol yesterday 😅

Did strength training yesterday for the first time in eons. Forgot how much food is needed to recover. Had a decent high protein lunch that was well filling but then 5pm hit and it was like I hadn't eaten in my entire life 🫠

Me to my game devs: You need to rest. You need to have downtime and work-life balance. You need to set boundaries for yourself and be a human outside work.

My brain: Not you, though.

Me: Oh, God, of course not me. Haha. Can you imagine?

Had a chuckle at a screen shared meeting today where I could read my coworker giving out to his AI plugin.

Absolute bollocks. My broadband has been regularly cutting out since Virgin have done works in the area and they have the cheek to raise their prices next month.

I love that Meta's attempt at getting more revenue involves blocking your unlimited scrolling with an unskippable ad. Makes me close the app every time lol.

You could say that Rock n Roll was born 111 years ago today in Arkansas, but probably not where you'd think. Before there was a Chuck Berry or Little Richard, there was those who wanted to be like her.

Rosetta Nubin better known as Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the godmother of Rock was born on this day

It's a small thing amid so much death, but a thing I hate about modern war is it pushes everybody watching it to their emotional limit while underlining their powerlessness to stop it so social media seems to get mean with folks lashing out at each other over small stuff to feel control

My employer purchased a Copilot license last year, and recently, a member of upper management insisted my team use it (over my vehement objections) in creating a big important annual report.

What is usually a 3-week process start-to-finish is about to enter week 6 this coming Monday.
