I managed to avoid putting any on my MBP for 6 years u til my daughter made a sticker and it made it on there. I managed to save it when I replaced the MBP - I then bought a plastic cover for my MBA and now use that for stickers (for airport security) and can remove it later for a clean machine.

Interesting, I don’t remember seeing or not seeing a kettle in the US - I’m surprised I didn’t take any notice of that…
