I miss it but life is especially busy right now with many positive experiences.

Little comic about period pain: “I get really bad periods. It feels like my insides are being pulled and twisted. Nonstop. I can’t walk, let alone stand (with pain killers). The pain is too much. It feels like gravity is doubled. Even with meds, on the first day, the most I can do is spend my day in bed.
People have advice: “Just exercise!” And opinions: “pills are bad just tough it out” (loser) Doctors have been less than helpful “birth control” a trio of doctors say I know there’s something wrong with my uterus. But I can’t do much about it. (I am full of rage)
Aside from the pain (fatigue, nausea, etc, etc.) it just sucks to plan around it. I’m scared to commit to things the week of my period. I also feel bad complaining every month. I’m grateful I have people that empathize and take care of me. I have my little rituals. Ibuprofen, heating pad and YouTube all day.
I know this is not a unique experience. I also feel a morbid comfort in having a community. I’m not weak for needing medicine. Or for crying from the pain. And neither are you.
