I love it! I would absolutely fall in that bathtub and break my everything (pic 12)

I love the combination of the Clocks!, the written instructions, and then the gnomes! The gnomes made it for me I think.

A wandering hail cloud just mooching about going 'here have some hail!' every so often to innocent locations!

That is so weird, cos hailing here too, but I'm in Newcastle! Did the UK just universally have a 5 minute hail downpour and then reset itself?!

Today R*f*rm sent someone to talk to me at my front door (part way through my work day) so I took great pleasure in telling them never to come back cos their party was scum and slamming the door on them.

I cannot figure out how you get to the top bookshelves - there's a gap in the railings but no ladder. And the ladder in the kitchen area (presumably for the empty top shelves) appears to be bolted in one place which makes it mainly useless. Confused!

Hey at least they threw foam at it. After a hellish few months I found that the builders who did my extension hadn't filled in round the soil pipe at all. Which answered 'how are rats getting in my house, in my walls, behind my bed?'

Haven't even looked at the photos to agree; it's Darras Hall: large, ugly, ridiculously expensive. I want to say footballers houses without any actual knowledge of if I'm right.

I was thinking that! Copilot too. Felt like an ad, and it's the BBC so that's a No-No

We hope for our own cultural ignorance, not other people's!

Yeah, and then I thought about not being totally sure where Georgia was geographically and also I don't know enough about bindis and then I realised I'd probably put more thought into this than she had and then I felt bad!

We do, yes, I looked up and was... Erm, ok then...

Oh Lordy! That's both deeply tempting and deeply horrifying! I already have enough issues processing sensory stuff right now, to have a whole other sense restored (that I never remember having) I feel would lead me down a path to madness.

Oh I've never seen that before and that was a wonderful start to the weekend for me, thank you!

That is entirely fair and as I also don't want to be sued I shall also refrain from any personal commentary

So one of my guitly pleasures is a specific gossip site which has unfortunately proved itself true quite a lot and they have been saying .... things along those lines but not 'what did' but 'this did' for some years now

I also have two smaller boxes so it's actually 52 books total... Plus another four books later when in stock/published. I could probably place the same size order again but I'm starting to reach out of print issues!

Slowly getting more PBs at the gym. This year I -will- get 40kgs consistently on bench and twice my body weight on leg press (I'm close on both)

I sent myself a message today which read: peppers, cooking sake, drain unblocker. I dread to think the chaos that would be caused if I had to build a list with someone else.

I'm sorry for your loss, and totally understand the conflicting emotions you'll be having (my father in law also suffered from dementia). I'm not Jewish so I don't know the right words of support and comfort, but please assume I said them. Take care of yourself.

I had great fun this weekend filling gaps in my book collection and supporting an independent bookshop at the same time (@portalbookshop.bsky.social - my queer bookshop of choice). It does mean I'm getting a box with 44 books in it delivered tomorrow which I'm not sure I'll be able to lift but ...

What the everloving heck?! (I was going to say that anyway, but it felt like the next logical evolution of the comments already made grammatically, kinda)

Am currently writing a project piece for a qualification where I have to address data security - the temptation to post a screenshot of the news article and just put 'not this' is strong

Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Minneapolis (Official Audio)
Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Minneapolis (Official Audio) YouTube video by Bruce Springsteen

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I remember when our fridge died and in replacing it we answered the question of 'where the heck did all the ping pong balls go?' (like, I think seven of them were under there?) and the chair my son sat in (he's older than your kids) used to produce coins at a fairly reasonable rate.

Yeah, first time I watched it I hated it. The second time I deliberately made myself not do any kind of comparison to the book and enjoyed it well enough but realistically I'm unlikely to choose to watch it over other Ghibli films.
