The bishop who pleaded at the inaugural prayer service for President Trump to “have mercy” defends her sermon.
He would be with the immigrant. The poor. The oppressed. The marginalized. Not with the one spewing vitriol. Not with the one so blinded by hatred and ignorance. I urge anyone who hears that sermon and has an adverse reaction to go back to the principle teachings and ask yourself if this aligns.
I grew up in the church. I am no longer apart of the church for a multitude of reasons. But I do know that what Bishop Mariann Budde spoke yesterday was the true teaching of Jesus. If you ask yourself, “if Jesus was here right now, who would he be standing with?”

They shut down their own app for a day, then turned it back on thanking Trump. What an obvious scam this was. Disgusting on the part of the Tik Tok owners, Trump, and all his sycophants who reversed their positions on it one second after he did for no reason other than he did.
Just a reminder of some of the context around the TikTok ban: In 2020, Trump tried to ban it via executive order a couple months after K-pop fans used it to organize fake signups to Trump’s Tulsa rally, which led him to publicly overestimate how large the crowd size would be.
This is really rich considering the President elect was found liable for sexual abuse in a court of law………..
