Can't wait to dive into Dr. @chanda.blacksky.app's newest work The Edge of Space-Time. Her last book, The Disordered Cosmos, spurred me to buy my daughter her first telescope to ignite a love for astronomy and to further enjoy the beauty of the night sky
One of my favorite reads this year. Well worth the time to sit with it even if you feel you are knowledgeable about the subject. "We have never learned enough, we never have all the answers, we have never seen all the cool things we can see, and we can never let our guard down."

The problem with Portland politics is that people treat "politeness" as neutral or even positive, meanwhile I have met some of the most hostile polite people in City Hall. They do a great job speaking in code and hiding behind a smile while systematically pushing policies that actually hurt people.
