Happy Cherry Blossom Festival to all who celebrate! 🌸
Crowdsourcing: what are some memorable movie scenes about waiting - waiting for someone, for news, for a big moment?

"I extend an urgent invitation to the wider Anglican Communion and all people of goodwill:
Intercede for us now.
The hour is late, and the danger is great.”
- Archbishop Hosam E. Naoum, The Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem

We are called to urgent, unceasing prayer for peace and for the most vulnerable in Iran, and elsewhere in the region.

Thank you. I am grateful and excited to be here.
I did. On Sunday.
The true measure of citizenship in these United States lies not merely in the freedoms we claim, but in how faithfully we use our liberty in service of justice for all.
Great day to celebrate George's 294th birthday. He’s looking remarkably good for his age.

Don't sleep on Knights of the Seven Kingdoms. It's so good!
I am grateful for the Ash Wednesday letter by Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe.
In a time shaped by division, outrage, and hardened hearts - what we might call “Pharaoh’s imagination” - we are invited to turn toward God’s imagination.

Amazing photoshoot by my incredibly talented wife, Julius Sophia. We had so much fun bringing this to life together.
Prayers ascending.
It’s a reminder of the sacred trust I carry. My desire to fashion my life in accordance to the Gospel, and to nourish Christ's people from the riches of his grace. I don't always live out gracefully, and I need these prayerful reminders.
One of the moments I treasure most as a priest is vesting for the Eucharist: the quiet ritual of prayer and preparation before stepping into mystery. Each short prayer as I vest draws me deeper into the grace of what we’re about to celebrate: the Sacrament of Love.

Lol. Would have lost me too.
Sorry for your loss, and for all the terrible pain, fear, and confusion created by our state of affairs. Sending you lots of love.
Did your heart open?
God is so Ephesian!
But God sees it all. God welcomes it all. And God longs to redeem it all with her boundless love.
Blessed All Hallow's Eve. Today we remember that all is sacred. We are all called to holiness - to friendship with God.
Even the parts of ourselves that feel like monsters and ghouls, the pieces we hide behind masks, the things we want to disguise afraid they’ll make us unlovable.

Thank you.
Today is the Feast of Saints Crispin and Crispinian - patrons of courage and craft.
Time for the annual rewatch of Kenneth Branagh’s St. Crispin’s Day speech. “We few, we happy few…”

I love Roger. This is a great photo.
Thank you. I am excited.
Thank you, Amy. I am excited and looking forward to this new chapter.
Please pray for me, and for the people of Grace in The Plains (they have no idea what they’ve done by calling me!). They will need your prayers, and I will surely need them too.

As I prepare to begin a new chapter as the next Rector of Grace in The Plains, I do so with a full heart. I go from Grace to Grace, confident that, in the words of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, “God’s grace is enough for me.”
I’m profoundly grateful for my time at Grace / La Gracia - a community that has loved me so well and taught me so much about what it means to be a priest. I love serving with and among the wonderful people of this congregation.
