There are also a few more planned today and tomorrow!
Divvy is hiring an Operations Coordinator to oversee siting new bikeshare equipment! secure7.saashr.com/ta/6210681.c...
Shooting for the end of next week or sooner!
Remarkable given the weather this January and February
Scooters here are Divvy + Lime scooter trips
Bikes here are Divvy ebikes + pedal bikes
Divvy rides (scooters, bikes, ebikes) has only ever gotten to 995K in August 2025. Never any higher
Divvy + Lime has been 1M+! Divvy alone has only gotten up to 995K in a month which was August 2025
Unofficial internal goal is 3 months with 1m+ rides :)
Divvy also hit 1,000,000 rides for 2026 this morning!
Divvy recap for the first 3 months of 2026 π²
β’ 799K total rides (11.7% higher than Q1 2025)
β’ 444K e-bike trips (19.7% higher than Q1 2025)
β’ 48 new and upgraded stations where riders need them
Strong start to the year!
I (finally) got a Divvy membership today to complement my cargo bike (and account for the fact that one of our two adult bikes was stolen in December). Iβve ridden it three times since noon. Iβm obsessed.
The 18 members of the Southern Rail Commission are volunteers. Yet this group of everyday citizens pulled together and restored passenger rail service between Mobile, AL and New Orleans last year.

Upgraded densified Divvy station on sidewalk
CDOT has been busy upgrading Divvy stations this week.
6 lightweight stations were upgraded to full-service bikeshare stations, including N Shore Channel Trail & Argyle.
We also densified & expanded Halsted & Roscoe, adding more docks in a high-demand area.
Just in time for warmer weather!
It's next in line :)
It's a big step toward full integration which is a huge priority!
CTA & CDOT just took a major step toward Ventra + Divvy integration π²π
Later this month, 30-day CTA/Pace pass riders on Ventra will be eligible for a $5 Divvy credit (limited to 20K; excludes annual members).
More to come!

@mmccabe.bsky.social this is temporary! We're bringing the map back - just transitioning it from ArcGIS based to Google MyMaps. Should be up and running again in a few days
Bus Rapid Transit is common in other countries. Dan Gentile writes that as Chicago enters a new era of transportation patterns and regional oversight, a Western BRT line offers a golden opportunity to show weβre still capable of delivering for riders.

BRT works! Tokyo, London, Seoul and Indy, Cleveland, Madison.
If you want fast, reliable transit without rail-level costs, this is the playbook!
Thanks for covering our work on Divvy @chiwho.bike and @viktorkoves.com ! Had a great time chatting with you about how we're expanding, growing and working to make Divvy more affordable.
We're also investigating/researching ways to bring more stations AND docks to the surrounding area. Hope to have updates soon!
The station was moved temporarily for a fiber optic project. It will be returned ASAP.
Yeah this is the most experience product Paris offers. The NYC independent budget office used that product in their report so I kept it consistent. Thanks for flagging!
Annual membership cost table comparing cities. NYC rises from $219 to $239. London stays at $162. LA stays at $150. SF rises from $150 to $165. Chicago stays at $143. Montreal rises from $139 to $144. Paris stays at $131. DC stays at $120.
CDOT has been working to keep annual membership pricing stable.
While other cities are raising prices (NYC now $239), Divvy is holding the line at $143 for a third straight year, and continuing the $99 promo for new and returning riders.
What makes for a top-notch state DOT: (1) a comprehensive cost-benefit project selection tool; (2) leadership in how it innovates, implements, and maintains bridges; (3) good roadway design and rigorous enforcement; and (4) road usage pricing with P3 project delivery. Divvy launched 6 new stations last week! We replaced older equipment & rack-only sites with full stations in North Lawndale, Brighton Park (2), Rosemoor, West Pullman & Lakeview:
π Keeler & Roosevelt
π Kedzie & 45th
π Archer & 43rd
π Woodlawn & 103rd
π Michigan & 118th
π Wilton & Diversey

Divvy just upgraded one of our busiest stations to a fully electrified charging station β‘οΈ
Wilton and Diversey in Lakeview now has 48 charging docks, right outside the Diversey Brown/Purple Line station.
This station sees high turnover for e-devices. Now e-bikes and e-scooters charge while docked!
Gas in Chicago is $4.18 a gallon (according to AAA). So, for a single 20 gallon tank of gas you can have access to thousands of bikes across hundreds of stations for an entire year. Seems like a pretty good deal to me!
