Steak N' Shake appears to be at least ideologically aligned with Trump and has also invested in "Trump Accounts".

Monterey Park, California has banned any data centers within its city limits Monterey Park's city council has moved to ban construction of any data centers within its borders.

“The California city's leaders placed a permanent ban on these buildings, labelling them a public nuisance. A proposed plan to construct a 250,000 square foot data center was stopped after residents and advocates pushed back against the project.”

No need. Just "forget" to turn on the A/C.

The US is literally being run by a convicted felon with impunity, so that checks out.

My opinion:
To me, it’s more than the pollution.
It’s more than the ridiculous waste of water.

To me, the entire PURPOSE behind data centers is deadly to the human race (and maybe all life on Earth).

The best case is that AI centers help them advertise to us.
Worst case - they control weapons.

ICE’s Smart Glasses Are a Worst-Case Scenario The DHS is reportedly developing its own smart glasses that it plans to couple with biometric databases and facial recognition.

“There are a lot of privacy pitfalls that come along with smart glasses, but the potential for their use as a tool for mass surveillance is easily one of the most harrowing.”

Sneak peek from my keynote next week at Awin in Chicago!

I used Peec AI to track 5,000 prompts related to "best product" queries in ChatGPT.

49% of all URLs that ChatGPT pulled came from review/affiliate domains!

Buy from your local stores. Boycott Amazon.

Well some of us do not just talk about it. We refuse to cushion pockets by not using their services like Amazon, Facebook, meta or whatever. Stop enriching the super rich.

I canceled my Prime membership with Amazon 18 months ago. I’m basically boycotting Amazon.

I look up products I want on its website to determine manufacturers’ names and order directly from other suppliers.

I used to think that tech companies were run by people with some moral compass who may have been disturbed by how their tech was being used but didn't want to wade into the moral issues of how it was being used. Now I've come to understand they have no moral compass at all. They don't care.

'Dystopian'? Smart glasses may be watching (and recording) you Advocacy groups issued a letter saying wearable tech like Meta's smart glasses represents a “dystopian privacy invasion.”

“‘Even though people often say there’s no such thing as privacy in public, the truth is a lot more complicated,’ said [Woodrow] Hartzog, who works in privacy and technology law.”

Store brands have the same active ingredients.

Look up which stores near you are least complicit in a fascist regime (sometimes you gotta choose the lesser of evils unfortunately), but support local businesses when possible!
